Denim on Denim: A 90s moment

This look is one of my all time favorites! I put this outfit together at like one o’clock in the morning. I was really having a 90s vibe moment with the white sneakers, which lead me to the denim shorts, denim jacket, and the retro sunglasses to top it off.

If you want a similar look, look for some light wash denim shorts, and an oversized denim jacket that is a bit darker than the shorts. I really love the contrast of the two denims. I tried on every pair of high waisted denim shorts that I had to get the perfect contrast between the two. Add some white sneakers of any kind, and you have yourself this outfit.

Believe it or not these shorts were actually pants that I bought two years ago from Goodwill that I cut off. I couldn’t ever find any high waisted shorts I loved, so if you have that problem too, this is always a great way to create your own.
